Emma earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst. She is a PhD student in Sharon Gerecht's lab.

Emma's research interests are studying the extracellular matrix mechanics in cancer and vasculature.
