Torie earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering with Honors from Ohio State University in 2018. She is a PhD student in Dr. Nenad Bursac's lab.

Research Interests:

I am studying how the presence of immune cells affects the development and function of engineered skeletal muscle tissue.
