Congratulations to Jennifer West (BME/MEMS) and Tosh Chilkoti (BME), who joined me in being named fellows of the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (IUSBSE) at December's virtual World Biomaterials Congress. The honor was established in April 1992 to recognize members “who have gained a status of excellent professional standing and high achievements in the field of biomaterials science and engineering.”
