Jena earned a BS in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 2013. She is currently being advised by Dr. Nico Hotz.

Research Interests

Jena is currently working on Plasmon-Assisted Solar Energy Conversion for Wearable Technologies: this research employs plasmonic nanoparticles that provide localized heating which has the ability drive solar energy conversion processes. Such a system has the potential to be incorporated into wearable technologies.
