BioE Seminar Series: Controlled Microporous Annealed Particle (MAP) Hydrogel Heterogeneity to Promote Tissue Integration
Thursday, February 10, 2022
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
CIEMAS Building: Schiciano B
Presenter
Donald Griffin, PhD, Assistant Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Virginia

The Griffin Research Group targets the goal of accelerated and improved recovery from injury and illness with a heavy emphasis on clinical translation. Specifically, we focus on promoting the functional integration of synthetic, injectable biomaterial scaffolds with host tissue. Our laboratory toolbox combines micro-scale spatial control and novel hydrogel chemistries to support both fundamental science and translational approaches to tissue regeneration.
